Box Seat to See Frank Melbourne – Miss Mildred Potts, an attractive 17 year old brunette, had a “box seat” on court at Kooyong during Frank Sedgman’s semi-final singles against Mervyn Rose. She came into the ground walking on Frank’s arm. Mildred is Frank Sedgman’s cousin. She was injured in a Boronia level crossing smash and it was her first real outing since leaving hospital eight days ago.
