Note | A MUSICAL TREAT.
MISS POTTS' CONCERT
The concert given by Miss E. Potts at the Palais, Healesville, on Mon day evening, 10th inst., proved a great success from every point of view, and further, it was a most agreeable surprise to the public generally.
It was expected that the entertainment would be good, but anticipations were greatly exceeded, as the production was one of the finest enjoyed by an audience at Healesville. The program was given by artists' from Melbourne, including Miss Elsie Donovan, Miss Gwen Dyer, Miss Jean Chaplin, Mr. Eric Hammond and Miss Elizabeth Potts.
Each item was well received by the appreciative audience, and many en cores were given, the lady performers being the recipients of bouquets. Miss Potts' rendition of her numbers was a delight to all, and reflected great credit on the thorough tuition which she had received. The hearty applause and many bouquets she received speak of the warm place she holds in the hearts of those among whom she lives.
The hall was well filled, and the platform was most daintily decorated, the latter being the work of the ladies' committee, which was formed to help in the organisation of the concert. Miss Potts was congratulated on every hand, and many requests were made that a succession of concerts should be given.
