The Mercury Friday 7 February 1936, page 7 LATE SARAH LAWSON Remains Reinterred Sydney, February 6, The remains of Sarah Lawson, wife of the explorer, William Lawson, which were accidentally discovered last week at Prospect by workmen engaged in excavation work, have been reinterred in the family vault at Prospect. The remains were enclosed in a steel casket on which the original plate bearing the inscription, "Sarah lawson, died 11th July, 1830, aged 48." was fixed.
