In the name of God Amen, I Petrus Van Hoesen of the city of Hudson, in the County of Columbia and State of New York yeoman, now enjoying health of body and a sound mind for which I desire to thank God the giver of all good--calling to mind the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death; have declared, ordained, established made and declared this to be my last willand Testament.
FIRST I resign my body to the earth from whence it was, leaving it with my Executors here after named to have it buried in decent order and according to the usual custom and my thanks to God that gave it, in hopes of pardon and acceptance through Jesus Christ and with respect to my worldly estate with which I have been blessed, and will that the same be disposed of in the following manner to wit.
SECOND I give and bequeath to each of the heirs of my brother JOHANIS VAN HOESEN one shuk or value thereof in money, to be delivered or paid by my said Executor.
THIRD I give and bequeath to each of the heirs of my brother JOHN VAN HOESEN one shuk or the value thereof in money to be delivered or paid by said Executors
FOURTH I give and bequeath to each of the heirs of my brother CORNELIUS VAN HOESEN one shuk or the value thereof in money to be delivered or paid by my said Executors
FIFTH I give and bequeath unto each of the heirs of my brother ABRAHAM VAN HOESEN one shuk or the value thereof in money to be delivered or paid by my said Executors.
SIXTH I give and bequeath to each of the heirs of my sister JANSCHE SCHERMERHORNE one shuk or the value thereof in money to be paid or delivered by my said Executors
SEVENTH I give and bequeath to each of the heirs of my sister HESHA VAN HOESEN one shuk or the value thereof in money to be delivered or paid by my Executors.

NINTH I give and bequeath to MARIETIA VAN HOESEN sister to my deceased wife a negro wench named DEYAN.
TENTH I give and bequeath unto JACOB VAN HOESEN son to my brother JOHN VAN HOESEN one horse.
ELEVENTH I give and bequeath unto my Nephews ELIJAH VAN HOESEN and the above named JACOB VAN HOESEN all the remainder of my estate both real and personal a~er paying all my just debts and funeral charges to wlt the same to them and to their heirs and ~ ~L5 forever.
TWELTH I constitute appoint and make THOMAS FROTHINGHAM of the said city of Hudson and my two nephews ELIJAH VAN HOESEN and JACOB VAN HOESEN Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby satisfying publishing and declaring this to be my last Will and Testament and I hereby disanulling all and any former Will or Wills which I may have heretofore made and declaring the same void given under my hand of seal at the city of Hudson this 11 day of June 1803.
