In the Will he is named as the testator's son and sole beneficiary save for a life interest for Florence Borthwick, the testator's sister. This was confirmed by relatives after the death of Minnie M Borthwick ("Madge") (daughter of Francis and his wife) in Nov 1994. Madge used to emphasise that J M B Snr (her uncle) cared for the family after Francis had left his family but on visits was only interested in J M B Jnr.
